With the MyCast 7, Advance Paris is expanding its portfolio of exclusive premium compact systems. The all-round talent leaves nothing to be desired: in addition to the obligatory CD playback and reception of both FM and DAB+, the MyCast 7 also offers access to modern streaming services, including Spotify and Deezer, but also to the high-resolution providers Tidal and Qobuz. Internet radio can also be received with the MyCast 7 via TuneIn and iHeartradio, Bluetooth is also on board and AirPlay 2 is supported.
Of course, files stored on a PC or server or NAS in the network are also played back without compromise. To keep track of the wide range of playback options, the compact hi-fi system can also be controlled via iOS and Android apps. The integrated HDMI input with ARC (Audio Return Channel) is very practical. The compatible TV only has to be connected to the MyCast 7 with a single HDMI cable and you can already enjoy the TV sound via the Advance Paris HiFi system. Of course, classic stereo interfaces are also available. A total of three stereo cinch inputs are available, one of which can be used as a phono input. There are also two optical and one coaxial digital input. The speaker terminals are large and accept larger cable cross-sections without any problems.
The MyCast 7 can also be perfectly supported in the low-frequency range by an active subwoofer via “Sub Out”. With 2 x 45 watts at 6 ohms, the compact hi-fi system is powerful. Especially when you consider that these performance data are realized by a Class AB amplifier. Advance Paris deliberately decided against digital amplification and elicited maximum neutrality, detail, dynamics and clarity from the MyCast 7 for the most authentic and harmonious music reproduction possible. The massive aluminum front looks very elegant, on which the control elements of the component, which are typically kept in silver and partially illuminated in white, are located. In addition to the aforementioned USB slot, there is also a connection option for headphones (6.35 mm) on the front.
