Overview
The Denon DL-A110 MC cartridge remains true to the original design of the headshell from the 1960s, now produced in a limited edition silver graphite finish. The lightweight headshell ensures the cartridge is held securely in place, and prevents unwanted vibrations that may disturb the music. This results in a clean and focused sound, with detail and dynamics apparent. The DL-A110 is equipped with a bayonet connector, also known as the SME tonearm interface.
The DL-A110 features the DL-103 cartridge, Denon’s longest running audio product that uses hand-spun copper wire made in Japan. The DL-103 was developed by producing the wide band frequency required for vinyl playback on Japan’s national broadcasting studios. The DL-103 cartridge has a long history of use in professional broadcasting.
The limited edition moving coil phono cartridge celebrates Denon’s 110th anniversary in audio, and is packaged with a commemorative case and hand-stamped certificate from the head engineer.
