Overview
When everything is in motion, vinyl remains the constant. The Miracord 80 once again testifies to ELAC’s connection to vinyl. For the irretrievable first impression and every moment that comes: The high-quality design is made from a combination of the materials wood, aluminum and carbon. The wooden chassis, milled from solid wood, accommodates assemblies designed according to classic ideals and modern electronics. The optionally available hood protects the mechanics from unwanted dirt. The long list of features prepares the basis for perfect scanning. While the mass drive with its 5.6 kg platter brings the desired inertia into the system, the PID-controlled DC motor ensures the correct revolutions per minute. The perfect synchronism is complemented by the 10 tonearm with carbon tube, which, thanks to its geometry, reduces the inherent tracking error.
10 carbon tonearm
Due to the special construction of the tonearm, the principle-related tracking error angle is reduced, which guarantees playback with the lowest possible distortion and the best possible stereo imaging.
Mass drive
The 5.6 kg, belt-driven turntable and the complex bearing form the mass drive, which, in conjunction with the servo-controlled drive, ensures perfect running smoothness.
In love with detail
The massive, high-gloss black lacquered or real wood veneered wooden chassis and the panels made of anodized aluminum ensure the independent and elegant look.
