Overview
With the Synthesis surround system – a direct descendant of the Pro Cinema industrial line – JBL redefines the home cinematic experience. Individually, the components of the custom line are exemplary enough to fit into any top-shelf installation. But when combined into one unified system, JBL’s Synthesis speakers and electronics form a scalable end-to-end solution designed to transform any size or shape environment into an unparalleled soundstage. Take the SDA 4600 multichannel amplifier. This custom-installation amp has the power not just to drive your speakers, but also to adapt to your requirements. Multichannel means just that: configurable as 2, 4 or 8 channels, with power specs of 300, 600 or 1,200 watts, depending on your needs. Pairs of channels can be operated in “bridged,” or combined, mode, to double output. Parent company Harman’s proprietary DriveCore technology packs more power into a smaller space, allowing top performance to be offered in a low-profile, rack-mount form factor. Auto on and off, remote configuration and monitoring via phone or pad, full digital connections to other electronics in the Synthesis line, and balanced inputs for the lowest-noise connections, all accommodate the most complex installations. Teamed with JBL’s equally incredible SDEC-4500P multichannel equalizer and SDP-75 Synthesis home cinema surround processor, you’ve got a super-system ready for whatever the future may hold.
