JBL Stage XD-5, an outdoor speaker with a waterproof cabinet

Built with a 2-way architecture, the JBL Stage XD-5 is an outdoor loudspeaker that is suitable for any event. Thanks to its IP67 certification, it is not afraid of bad weather and dust. Because of this, you can still stream music even when it’s raining. To guarantee its waterproofness, this accessory is equipped with a waterproof case. As for its magnetic grid, it is made of aluminum and can be removed from the case. For clarification, this model adopts a length of 179 mm, a height of 250 mm and a depth of 162 mm.
An outdoor speaker with two powerful speakers
In addition to its solid cabinet, the JBL Stage XD-5 has two quality speakers. The first is a 13cm woofer which takes care of the midrange/bass while the second is a 25mm tweeter dedicated to the treble. In order to stand out from other outdoor speakers on the market, this equipment incorporates a polycellulose cone, an acoustic lens and an HDI horn. This set therefore allows this pair of speakers to produce a senility of 86 dB and an impedance of 4 ohms.

Accompanied by a wall bracket, this speaker can be placed in various places such as on the beam, on the pergola, on the wall or under the roof. To enjoy better sound quality, it is recommended to connect the JBL Stage XD-5 with a 20 watt to 100 watt amplifier. Also, we must not forget that this device allows a maximum frequency response of 25,000 Hz and a minimum of 75 Hz.
