Overview
Worn belts are the largest contributor to turntable speed fluctuations which destroy your soundstage. A high quality belt will allow independent motion of the sub-chassis, yet drive the inner platter at a constant speed by friction. It’s a complex balance that can only be achieved by a correctly sized belt of good quality rubber.
Original replacement drive belt is for the following:
TD-105 – 115, 125, 126, 127, 226, 146, 147, 150, 160 – 166, 280 MK I – III, 290, 325, 316 –321, 325, 520, 521, 700, 900, Concerto 2001 & 3001
All current turntables up to and including TD- 309, 1600 & 1601 (Excluding the TD-201 & 202).
