Overview
The Advance Paris X-A160 EVO power amplifier is designed around an elegant, ultra-rigid and compartmentalized chassis providing effective shielding to eliminate any risk of radiation between its various circuits. It uses an 800 VA power transformer coupled to high current capacity power transistors (models NJW0281G and NJW0302G). This assembly provides the Advance Paris X-A160 EVO power amplifier with exceptional dynamic qualities and allows it to be extremely responsive to transients. Capable of finesse and subtlety when the music requires it, the Advance Paris X-A160 EVO amplifier benefits from class AB amplification that can deliver up to 160 watts. It can inject the first watts in class A for an even warmer and softer sound. To take advantage of this, simply activate the High Bias mode using a specific switch located on the back of the device. Above a certain power, switching to class AB takes place automatically.
On the front, the Advance Paris X-A160 EVO power amplifier adopts two superb needle view-meters which indicate the peak powers under 8 ohms for the right channel and the left channel. It has an inertia allowing you to read for a short time the average power of the amplifier. The on / standby button on the front is supplemented by a general power switch on the back of the device. On the connection side, the Advance Paris X-A160 EVO power amplifier offers the choice between a set of balanced XLR inputs and a set of unbalanced RCA inputs. Its screw speaker terminals accept large section cables as well as banana plugs and forks. As for the Trigger connector, it allows you to trigger the start-up of the amplifier at the same time as that of the pre-amp which is connected to it by this means.
The Advance Paris X-A160 EVO power amplifier is an element of choice to ensure optimal power supply for any pair of compact or column speakers.
