Overview
On request, the T+A PA 3000 HV and the T+A PA 3100 HV can also be equipped with high-end phono preamplifier modules, which have different circuit stopologies for MM or MC systems. It is also possible to install the analogue signal processor module from the T+A P 3000 HV for channel-separated sound control and loudness functions. The all-metal infrared remote control F3001 is supplied.
Technology
As in the T+A P 3000 HV, the circuit topology of the amplifiers is based on a cascode differential amplifier with hand-selected audio J-FET transistors and completely discretely constructed stages without an operational amplifier. This circuit concept and the quality of the components means that virtually no over-all-counter-coupling is necessary. Thanks to its high operating voltage, the HV technology also allows extremely high linearity as well as an extremely high dynamic range. Signals up to 60 Vpp can be processed undisturbed.
In the T+A HV series, switching and switching functions in the signal range of gas-tight encapsulated gold contact relays are adopted which, even after many years of operation, do not have any contact problems due to corrosion, dust, etc. and no ageing.
In the preamplifier, bi-stable relays are used in which no permanent coil current flows anymore and thus also no inductive impairment of the audio signals can take place. Due to the integration of the relays directly into the circuit, the signal paths are optimally short and there are no cable paths, such as conventional volume potentiometers. The volume control is also built with discrete precision resistors and gold contact relays, so there is absolutely accurate channel balance, no noise and no distortion.
The entire control electronics are deeply recessed and shielded in the 40 mm thick and fully milled front panel, on the front of which is the luminous and dimmable display (VFD) made of glass with wear-free sensor buttons.
